With the $8000 tax credit to first time home buyers and the $6500 tax credit to existing home owners, the low interest rates and the inventory of homes out there Now Is The Time To Buy! The interest rates are going to be going up by this Spring or early Summer. Because the government will not be buying as many loans. It is projected that private investors will be taking this on and will not be offering them at such low rates as the government has been. Therefore, don't wait any longer to buy that home. The home you are buying must have a binding contract by April 30 and close by July 1, 2010 to get this advantage. According to the Real Estate Center at A&M University, personal consumption expenditures represent 70% of buying and it is starting to recover. Texas is still very affordable.
