Wanted: A Stable Economy
While many other places in the nation are downsizing and laying off workers, Montgomery County is holding its own. Business Week, recently quoted the 40 cities that are the most stable economically, in the country. Of the top 12, 5 of them were in Texas. A good example of this is The Woodlands, Texas, a master planned community that is a bedroom community for Houston's business executives. Two new stores are opening up this Fall in Market Street, a quaint shopping experience with 70 different boutique shops, book stores, and fine restaurants. The first, Tattu Denim By Design, with its outstanding collection of premium designer jeans, and the second, Interiors of Distinction with 2500 sq. ft. of home furnishings, accessories, floral designs and unique gifts. This announcement follows the recent additions of Norton Ditto and Thomas Markle Jewelers. Way to go The Woodlands. This is just in time for Christmas! -- Linda Dayen
