A FISHY TAIL!!
You can believe me when I say that things smelled a little fishy this weekend in the city of Montgomery, Texas on Lake Conroe where many bass fishermen enjoyed the three days of fishing and concerts as they tried for the grand prize. The Toyota Texas Bass Classic is hoping to returned to Lake Conroe next year. At this first Bass tournament on the Lake, the 2009 TTBC trophy went to fisherman, Dave Lefebre, of Pennsylvania, who led the tournament from the start. His total catch weighed 46 pounds, 12 ounces by Sunday, the last day and his grand prize was $250,000. Not bad for doing what you love to do on such a perfect Fall day here at Lake Conroe. Sean Hoernke, of The Woodlands, Texas, caught a total of 37 pounds, 8 ounces and was 9th in the tournament. Way to go fishermen!! What I want to know is did they get to keep and eat what they caught? Montgomery County brings another great event to its residents. --Linda Dayen
